I’m Kathryn, the founder of Raw Appetite and a well-balanced, smiley person who is fascinated with food: its variety, culture and ability to nourish body and soul. I love fresh ingredients, food markets, kitchen gardens, stocking up the larder, and meal planning.  I’ve spent a long time getting familiar with the techniques that I now know are the cornerstone of a raw food lifestyle: juicing, blending, sprouting, fermenting, dehydrating. Pottering in the kitchen is a hobby turned livelihood.
I started Raw Appetite to encourage others to think more about the food on their plate, and to develop their own food sense. I believe a healthy attitude to food supports a robust appetite for life, that the vitality in your food helps generate the spirit and energy you need to lead the life you want. This is what Raw Appetite is about.
