Hair mineral tests and analysis

Low energy and chronic fatigue, a poor immune system, osteoporosis, degenerating joints and fertility issues are all associated with mineral deficiency through an intake of foods grown in soil depleted of nutrients or even poor absorption of our intake of minerals.

Many minerals are present in the hair in higher quantities (up to 200 times greater!) than in the blood, so hair analysis can be a useful screening tool for assessing mineral status in the body.

Samples of hair are taken from the nape of the neck close to the scalp. Based on the results a review of diet and course of mineral supplementation may be recommended.  Testing/analysis currently costs £45.
